The Foundation
RJ Transportation Services LLC was established in Laredo, Texas, at 801 Pellegrino Ct. Founded in the heart of America's #1 land port, we strategically positioned ourselves at the epicenter of cross-border trade between Mexico and the United States. We received our USDOT (3165130) and MC (113964) numbers, beginning operations with a commitment to excellence and safety.
Strategic Expansion
Recognizing the need for enhanced capacity and security, we relocated to our current state-of-the-art facility at 8208 Camino Colombia Toll RD, Laredo, TX 78045. This strategic move provided secure storage for our growing fleet, enhanced monitoring capabilities, and better connectivity for border crossing and expedited operations. Our commitment to "Llega porque llega" (It arrives because it arrives) became the foundation of our service promise.
Sister Company & USMCA Era
We established Rajo Transportes, our sister company in Mexico, creating a powerful cross-border alliance that extended our logistics capacity internationally. This partnership enabled seamless Mexico-USA transportation, integrated logistics solutions, and complete door-to-door service across both nations. When the USMCA officially replaced NAFTA on July 1, 2020, RJ Transportation immediately adapted, positioning ourselves as USMCA-compliant transportation specialists.
Technology Integration
We invested heavily in cutting-edge technology: GPS satellite tracking on all units, interior and exterior security cameras, Electronic Logging Devices (ELD), personalized mirror accounts for clients, real-time cargo monitoring, and a 24/7 monitoring center. This technological leap set us apart as leaders in transparent, secure logistics.
Fleet Modernization
We expanded our fleet and implemented the TeamDrivers modality, enabling 24/7 operations, minimal transit times, expedited service across 10+ US states, and coverage expansion to Midwest, Northeast, and South USA. Our modern fleet of fifth-wheel tractors and 53' dry boxes became synonymous with reliability and efficiency.
Industry Recognition
RJ Transportation gained recognition for outstanding service quality with 5-star carrier ratings, professional communication and timeliness, strong driver-dispatcher coordination, and exceptional handling of high-value deliveries. By this year, we had completed over 15 million miles in safe transportation, established partnerships with major automotive and food industry clients, and built a team of 50+ highly trained professionals.
Compliance Excellence
Understanding that supply chain security is essential for operational success, we initiated the OEA (Operador Económico Autorizado) certification process for Rajo Transportes. We implemented rigorous security protocols including 17-point inspection systems, high-security seal verification, contingency planning, enhanced facility security with constant monitoring, and comprehensive risk management systems.
Certification Milestone
Our sister company Rajo Transportes achieved OEA certification (Folio: 2500301601120239910000054), demonstrating our commitment to continuous improvement in risk management, operational efficiency, and meeting the highest international security standards. We are now actively pursuing CTPAT certification (Account: 99763888), further solidifying our position as a security-focused, compliance-driven transportation leader.
